Bamboo Bicycle

First off bamboo is just freakin' amazing. The stuff is stronger than hell and grows like freakin' crazy. Plus, it's all natural!

Now believe it or not bamboo is being used to make bicycles. It's the hot, green thingy-to-do. A company in Brooklyn, Bamboo Bike Studios, is offer a two day course where you there instruct you on the building of your very own bamboo bike. For $1000 you receive 2 days of instruct, arrive Saturday and bike off Sunday, and all the materials you need.

Apparently there is a big forest of bamboo in New Jersey that was getting out of control (I'm telling you the stuff grows like freakin' crazy), and these folks harvest it for building bicycles. All bikes are custom fit to you. And they actually pretty good bikes. I mean look at that thing. Check it out. Google it.
